FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
ARCHITECTURAL EXPERTISE
I believe that great architecture is for everyone, with the power to transform and uplift the lives and stories of ordinary people and communities. My 400+ built works span from iconic custom residences to community, worship, and commercial projects. They share inspired geometries, light-filled interiors, elements that foster belonging, and strong connections to the land.

FIRST-OF-IT’S KIND BOOK
CALIFORNIA CENTRAL VALLEY ARCHITECTURE
FRAMING THE VALLEY:
MARIA OGRYDZIAK, HOUSES
My book Framing the Valley features eight case study houses: projects where trailblazing people—with modest and luxurious budgets—worked with me to craft remarkable lives. Projects include Art Barn, a steel horse barn transformed into an art gallery; Flight House, a budget-friendly remote-work homestead; Edge Loft and Music Box, remodels of California’s classic ranch-style and mid-century modern tract homes; and Iridescent, a 15,000-square-foot luxury homestead clad in shimmering glass.
ART AS DISCOVERY
I draw, paint, and sculpt to make sense of the world. Art is my dynamic way of thinking, pollinating my architectural work.
